Jan 24/2011, new week!

Been doing layne nortons hypertrophy days, skipped the strenght days this week.

Went up to 60lb dumbbells on my incline press.. definitely gaining strenght and endurance!

Will post my workout the next 3 days, made some slight tweaks in Layne Nortons routine. Adding 5x5 compound lifts on my hypertrophy days.

Hypertrophy Chest/Arms.. Exhausting!

Just finished my workout at my local gym, Shapes. Today was hypertrophy chest/arms day, awesome workout!



* DB Incline Bench 2x12 55, 1x12 60
* Barbell Close Grip Bench 3x8 105
* DB Flat Bench 2x12 50
* Preacher Curls DB super setted with 3x12 35
* Standing French Press 3x12 45
* Push Downs 3x8 65
* DB Hammer Curls 3x8 40
* Machine Curl supersetted with 2x8 45, 1x8 50
* Machine Dips 2x8 135, 1x8 140
* Cable Crossovers 3x10 45
* db flyes 1x12 25, 1x12 30


Overall, awesome workout. Got new prs in incline db and a couple other exercises. It has been one month since I started this program and highly recommend Layne Norton's Strength/Hypertrophy routine to anyone.

Milky Whey


I've started using Milky Whey protein a couple of months ago, great taste and easy to mix. Highly recommend.

Favourite flavours are cookies & cream and chocolate mint.


A great alternative to more expensive protein powders, it also has 5-8g of BCAAs per serving.
